In an era of endless scrolling , inspiration is often fleeting. A thought-provoking image or a carefully chosen phrase may resonate for a moment , but just as quickly , it is lost buried beneath the next post , the next distraction.
Dayge’s work operates within this space , using culturally resonant imagery paired with introspective commentary to create moments of reflection. On social media , these moments exist in a constant cycle of consumption and displacement , making it difficult for ideas to settle before they are replaced by something else. The question , then is: what happens when this work is removed from that cycle ?
This book is not just a collection of posts transferred to print ;it is an exploration of format and attention. In moving from a digital feed to physical page , the work is recontextualized & offered in a way that encourages deeper engagement.
Without the interference of an algorithm dictating what comes next , does the reader absorb the message differently? Does the permanence of print make the ideas feel more intentional , less disposable?
Social media has transformed the way we interact with philosophy, art and language. It has made inspiration more accessible , yet paradoxically , more ephemeral. By presenting this work in book form , we’re asking whether slowing down the experience changes its impact. This is not just about preservation , but about reconsideration. This is about giving these ideas room to exist beyond the swipe , beyond the scroll.
